The Village and Pillage update changed the arcane magicks by which Iron Golems were summoned, leading to a sudden failure in the iron farm. The factory stood idle for many months, rusting. In June 2020, an expedition was launched to stoke the fires of Golem creation, and Scrapped Metal generates once more. The production rate has even increased!
