In March 2017, two explorers discovered the remains of an ancient civilization. These remains, shown here prior to excavation, consisted of a large Obsidian monument and a number of other structures.
After determining that the site had both historical and cultural significance, the Dwarven Heritage Society embarked on a massive archaeological dig to unearth the ruins. Since then, the ruins have been the subject of numerous inquiries, studies, rumors, and hoaxes.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Dwarven Heritage Society cabin prior to proceeding to the site. The cabin is home to the Earthworks Knowledge Library, which is a collection of scholarly and amateur opinions about the site. Please exercise the utmost care while exploring the ruins. Leave no trace of your presence.
The Earthworks are a brief trip by boat from the Three Miles Highland harbor.
