This article is meant to be a list of all 1.3.1 bugs which affect our players. Please edit it if/when more are discovered. If you have lost resources, XP, or progress as a result of a bug or server glitch, please contact an administrator and the damage will be undone to the extent possible. If you believe the world is seriously damaged, please let an admin know so we can halt the server ASAP.

There is a bug in Minecraft 1.3.1 which affects signs. The report reads:
In multiplayer, some signs may appear to have no text on them. Which one has and which one hasn't changes between logging out and in. (Minecraft Wiki, 2 Aug 2012 00:57)
Sign text is not actually erased. Log out and back in again to see the signs on your current chunk. Note that not all signs within your draw distance will load—only ones on the same chunk as you. This is annoying, but it has not actually caused us to lose any data. Your sign text is safe, and there is no need to reinstall signs.
The client occasionally “forgets” that you are in a Minecart, but the server remembers. The minecart goes sailing off into the distance, while the player is left stranded. If the cart gets farther away from the player than the chunk load distance, the chunk that the player is standing in is unloaded—sending them into The Void.
Should you glitch out of a minecart, disconnect immediately. Monitor your minecart rides to ensure that they are working properly.
Note, it happens in boats, too. Be careful!
