Pictures of an Expedition is an unreleased Minecraft short film that is approximately six minutes in length. The film blends the old tradition of “silent” films, which are set to music, with present-day Machinima techniques.

The film is scheduled to be released in Winter 2021. It is not yet complete.

A total of three to five brave volunteers are sought to assist Ch1b1 during the production phase. Volunteers will use a modded version of Minecraft (provided) to act out supporting roles. Only in-game video will be recorded. There is no “dialogue” or “speaking parts.” While there are opportunities to use your own Minecraft skin, skins will be provided. About fifty seconds of final-cut footage is needed. Plan on several hours of shooting, over the course of several days.

In keeping with our “no real names” policy, Volunteers will be credited by their Minecraft username.
